For translations, the Polylang Plugin would be a better idea. WPML has too much nonstandard code that interferes with how WordPress and other plugins work.
This add-on for Broadcast adds support for ICanLocalize’s WPML translation plugin. More specifically, it adds support for:
The WPML plugin itself
the WooCommerce Multilinguagal plugin
The add-on will automatically link the translations on the child blogs to each other upon broadcast.
Please read all of the notes below, they contain information that can save you a ton of headache.
Syncing taxonomies
Taxonomies can be synced in one language at a time using the Sync Taxonomies plugin. In order to correctly sync taxonomies in WPML you have to switch to the language in question, using the admin bar, before syncing. The same language must exist on the target blog(s).

From a user:
“From what we’ve observed, adding the translate independently after duplicate seems like a behaviour that is acceptable for most multlingual websites. This method works with the latest wpml 3.3.5 and wordpress 4.4.1.”
