Scheduler

This add-on for Broadcast will automatically change the publish date of child posts during broadcasting.

After creating one or more schedules, they can be selected in the Broadcast meta box in the post editor.

The available schedules are:

  • even spread will publish all child posts at specific interval.
  • random will set the publish date of each child post at random.

Clearing the schedule and broadcasting will set the publish date of the child posts back to the parent post’s.

  1. Hello, I would like to know if this add-on allows me to change the publish date of the children at the time of broadcasting. For example, i have a post published on August 15th and I need to put it on a subsite dated today

is this possible with this add-on?

    1. The scheduler can’t currently do that. If you want to set the publish date of the children, you’ll have to do it by setting the publish date of the parent post – which is already possible to do with the basic Broadcast plugin. That means the parent post’s publish date gets changed also.

I’m not sure how the user interface would have to look like to be able to set the publish date of the child posts. If you have any ideas, feel free to contact me with your needs.
