I keep broadcasting a page that links to other products. For example, if the product doesn’t exist on the child blog, I don’t want to create a new product on that blog.

How are you referring to this product? Using a custom field? In that case, adding the custom field to the Broadcast custom field protect or blacklist setting should solve your problem also.
